Importing Panelists into a Specific Panel Group

Introduction

In sensory science, a panel group refers to a specialized group of individuals who are trained to evaluate sensory attributes such as taste, smell, texture, appearance, and overall sensory experience of products or stimuli. In this article we explain how to import panelists into a specific panel group. 

Step 1

Open your project and go to the tab Panel.

Step 2

Here you can select the option Import. This option lets you import an excel file to the access list, which includes the panelists login name.


The excel file that you import needs to have one column with the login of the panelists that are already present in your database. See an example on how it should look like below. 

Step 3

After importing the excel file, you can save this new list of panelists as a panel. You need to click on save as panel the make the changes.
